St. John’s and Kinkaid match up in cross-town rivalry games finishing on Friday.

On Thursday the St. John's - Kinkaid rivalry kicked off with 7th grade football on Skip Lee Field.  St. John's 7's went out to a 24-0 half time lead and pulled away for a 42-24 victory to go undefeated on the season.  8th Grade Football and JV Football lost their games 24-16 and 42-22, respectively.   

JV 1 Girls’ Volleyball won 2-1 and Girls’ Varsity lost 3-0 in their final games of the season.  Boys’ Varsity Volleyball swept the Falcons 3-0 to remain undefeated in the SPC South.
Varsity Field Hockey won 1-0 to take the SPC South #1 seed.  JV 1 won 6-0 and JV 2 lost 3-0.   8th Grade Field Hockey defeated St. Francis 2-1 to win the HJPC title. School.
On Friday Varsity Football lost the 64th showdown 48-0.  The game was broadcasted by channel 57, The Kube.

On Saturday Maverick Girls’ and Boys’ Cross Country teams traveled to Austin to compete in the SPC South Zone meet hosted by St. Andrew’s School.  St. John's finished first in both girls' and boys' races.
