SJS Wins First Place at Texas French Symposium

Félicitations to the SJS French students who won first place at the Texas French Symposium for the first time since first competing in 2012. Not only did the SJS team win first place overall, but four SJS students placed among the top ten individual point winners of the competition: Jordan Fullen (first), Raunak Kundagrami (second), Charlotte Gillard (fourth) and Sophie Gillard (ninth). The 54th annual Texas French Symposium took place on March 23 and 24 at The Woodlands High School.

The statewide competition drew some 800 students from 38 different schools. The following students won first-place medals for individual categories: Jordan Fullen, Charlotte Gillard, Margaret Gorman, Sophia Kontos, Raunak Kundagrami, Abigail Price, Tara Samson-Williams.
