J.V. Tennis v. Memorial

Senior Ginny Lachman began her tennis season with a long match against Memorial's line one singles player Anne Marie Myers. The match was finally called due to darkness after Lachman won the second set. The final score will be recorded as a tie --- 4-6, 6-4. Freshman Kristina Cibor lost a tough 3 setter at line 2 singles 6-7, 6-4, 4-6. This was Cibor's first match of her high school career. J.V. Capts. Christan Isbell and Faria Nasser teamed up on line one doubles and lost 4-6, 4-6 to a very strong Memorial team of B. Morrison & S. Yato. Line Two Doubles for St. John's consisted of freshman duo Hannah Underwood and Johana Dickerson. Underwood and Dickerson defeated L. Walker & K. Walker in a 3 set tie breaker 4-6, 6-3, (8-6).
