The Mavs had trouble playing team defense and gave the Warriors too many easy shots.  Couple a lukewarm defensive effort with poor free throw shooting, and SJS just could not get a win.

The fourth quarter push was strong, but too little too late.  Jasmine, Meryl, and Hannah gave us a huge lift off the bench with their aggressive play and Alex worked hard in the last 8 minutes to contribute.  Had the TEAM made free throws, SJS would have notched another win.

We now set our sights on Kinkaid.  It will take all of us playing together, supporting each other, and communicating well to beat the Falcons.  Both teams enter the game with a 2-2 South Zone record, so both teams will be eager to get that important zone win.
