St. John’s School seeks an innovative and energetic primary grade teacher responsible for instruction in the areas of language arts, math, and social studies. Successful candidates will, first and foremost, have a passion for working with elementary students, as well as experience differentiating instruction and teaching students through a workshop model of instruction in the areas of math and language arts. Knowledge of best practices in teaching of reading and writing as well as the Teachers College Reading and Writing Units of Study are required.
Candidates will have a BA in Elementary Education, preferably three years of teaching experience, and experience integrating technology to support instruction. St. John’s School seeks educators who are innovative and reflective, open to feedback, and eager for professional collaboration.
