Girls' Volleyball Coach Announced

Please welcome Karen Morgan to the St. John's School Athletic & Physical Education Department as the Head Varsity Girls' Volleyball Coach.  In addition to her role as the program director for the entire Girls' Volleyball Program, Karen will serve as a full-time member of our Physical Education Department.  

Karen graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Rice University in 2009.  As a player for the Rice Owls’ Varsity Volleyball team, Karen was named Rice Newcomer of the Year in 2005, and First Team Conference USA along with All-Region and HM All-American honors in 2008.  Karen earned her way onto the Rice 1,000 Kill and 1,000 Dig Clubs, several All-Tournament teams, while winning Most Improved and Most Valuable Player accolades for the Owls.  Upon graduation from Rice, Karen embarked on a coaching career as an Assistant Volleyball Coach at Episcopal High School, Head Varsity Volleyball Coach at Incarnate Word, and Milby High School Physical Education Instructor/Assistant Volleyball Coach/Head, Track & Field Coach, where she currently serves.  Karen is an assistant coach for the Houston Juniors Volleyball Club 18 & Under Elite team, which currently holds the #1 ranking in Texas.
