On Senior Night, Girls' and Boys' Basketball thrived on the home-court advantage against arch rival Episcopal.
Boys' Basketball stand at 3-1 while the girls are 4-0 in the SPC South.  Before a packed house on Liu Court the Mavericks lit up the Knights in two SPC showdowns.

The girls, led by Briana Williams' 21 points and Kris Slaughter's 5 free-throws down the stretch, held off the regionally ranked Knights.

The boys jumped to a commanding 20 point lead in the first half and held on with clutch free throws to ice it for St. John's.

"Tim Otey's 2 free throws and the 3 big defensive stops in a row with less than 2 minutes to go was the key to victory," said Coach Baber.  "It was a big-time high school basketball atmosphere.  The crowd was unbelievable."
