Cross Country: Girls finish first, boys second, at South Zone! Field Hockey: St. John's (12-1-1, 6-0) rose up with the full moon to eclipse any come-back from Kinkaid. With the 3-2 win, the Mavericks earned the first seed at conference. Daphne Desjardins ('11) scored the first two goals, and assisted Sam Night ('13) for the game winner. Carolyn Cooper ('11) had 3 saves for the South Zone Champs. Volleyball: Girls and Boys sweep final counters to gain in SPC division 1 rankings. Football: Mavericks (7-2, 4-1) make the Chronicle, but lose their first SPC game to the HH Dutch. The Mavs must defeat the Falcons on Friday to get a second shot at Holland Hall in the SPC Championship game.
