Mavericks high school swimming and diving program is riding the middle school swell of success of three consecutive HJPC Championships!
The Mavericks Middle School Swimming and Diving team won the HJPC Championship on Wednesday at the Lamar natatorium.  This was the girls' third consecutive championship and the combined boys' and girls third title.  "The biggest factor in our scoring is our depth especially with the girls," said Stobie Whitmore, Head Middle School Swim Coach.  "We did not have the top swimmers in the meet, but we were able to finish second, third and fourth in the majority of the races to give us the team win," said Whitmore.

St. John's high school team will will test the water in the upcoming SPC Swimming and Diving Championship this Saturday.
