Mavs Tie Texas Pride

The Mavs showed tremendous resiliency in gaining a tie against the Texas Pride.  The Pride controlled play through most of the game, gaining more corners than the Mavs.  Having said that, the second half was much better for the Mavs than the first.  Pride scored their goal in the first half and put the Mavs defense under intense pressure.  Tyler was forced to make too many terrific saves to keep the Pride to one goal.  The second half was much more even, including a goal by the Mavs  in one of our forays into their end.  Getting to play an extra game against a quality opponent was a great opportunity for us.  Thanks to the Pride for scheduling us.
