Van Leck Leopard Relays

The Varsity Boys did well at Van Vleck on Saturday. It was a long, warm, sunny, and very windy day on the coastal plains, but there were some good performances and the team finished 6th out of 11 schools with 45 points, and behind two 5A schools. Evan Howell finished 3rd in the Triple Jump with a Personal Best of 41'11.5 and second in the 300 Hurdles with a 42.7. Rudy Reynolds won won the 800m in a time of 2:01.3 and Rohan Balsaver was 6th with a 2:07.9. Nick Finnegan was 2nd in the 1600m at 4:37. Michael Sims threw a personal best in the Discus of 103'0. The 4x400 team of Ben Hulet, David Gonzalez, Rohan Balsaver and Rudy Reynolds finished 4th in a time of 3:39.2. Welsey Cowan PRed in the JV Shot Put, Rob Hine was 4th in the JV Pole Vault, Ryan Hodgson was 4th in the JV 800m, and Hubert Lee 6th in the 1600m.
