St. Thomas Tri Meet

The Boys had a good day at St. Thomas. A lot of younger athletes competed and many were already gone for Spring Break. Greg Cook and Michael Sims had two of the better performances of the day. Michael set a PR in the Shot Put with a throw of 39'0.5" and Greg jumped 36'6 in his first Triple Jump competition ever! David Finkelstein and Eugene Wu also threw PRs in the Shot. The most improved performers were Jordan Thomas and Stephen Scarborough. Jordan jumped 17'5 in the Long Jump and ran well in the 110m Hurdles. Stephen ran well in the 3200m, PRed in the 1600m, and ran a tough 400 on one of our 4x400 teams! Other highlights included Mark McClure's return to the Long Jump with an 18'4 and Rudy Reynolds 2:01 in the 800m. After break the boys will compete on Friday March 26 at Kinkaid and some will compete Saturday March 27 at Van Vleck High School.
