Mavericks Maintain Win Streak

The 8th Girls lax team stretched their win streak to 7-0-0 with an 8-5 defeat over ROB.  Highlights of the game included some key assists from the likes of MacNaugton, Nasser  and Herbert, strong defense from Schierman, Newar and Lewis, and several key saves from 7th goalie-recruit, Penny Bailey.  Goals came from Diaz (3), Paterson (2), Franklin, Hines and Hawley.  Next week, the 8th grade faces off against AOS at 6:15 Monday on Lee and against SFE at 5:15 Thursday on Caven.
