Athletic Highlights

The Mavericks continued their win streak and chalked up another impressive win with a shutout against ROB. The Mavs scored twice in the first half with impressive goals from Catherine Padhi and Sarah Burkett, with assists by Olivia Herbert. Charlotte Iupe capped off the scoring in the second half with an individual scoring effort. Once again, the defense led by Joan Scheirman, Hayden Foutch, Katharine Romfelt, Janie Wilde, Margaret Mauel, Jennifer Lewis, Meagan Longoria, Paige Hawley and Daisy Wolf, kept their opponents from scoring. Lauren Wilson as well had several more saves in goal. The Mavs finish out their regular season Thursday against DASH and then head into the city playoffs next week as the #1 seed.
