Athletic Highlights

In a hard fought contest, the Mavs braved high sticks, chops to the shins and numerous fouls from an aggressive Moms' team; but in the end, the team was too much for the Moms despite a roster with several ex-Rebel SPC champion vets. After wearing them down in the first half, the Mavs pored it on to score 3 goals against veteran lax goalie and father to Lauren Wilson. The parent's only goal came late after a bad call from a questionable referee. The 8th graders remain undefeated and take on AOS, ROB and DASH - all at home on this coming Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
