Despite some tough playing coniditions, the Mavericks played a good game at First Presbyterian. In the first half, Eliot Aiman repelled all of Frist Presby's efforts towards our goal and Ellie Monday made several key saves from the goal in the second half. Nice work, goalies! Claire Pedrick, Remi Clonts, and Lili Masterson held down the defensive line throughout the game with style, and our middfielders (Erin Walsh, Ashley Yen, Catherine Lu, Olivia Frankfort, Kate Willey, Celine Huang, Peyton Self) did a great job working hard and maintaining proper positioning throughout the game. Our forwards (Lucia Valderrabano, Mia Masterson, Gracie Malone, Grace Perrin, Elizabeth Schaefer) did not see as much action as usual this game, but Mia Masterson and Elizabeth Schaefer were able to conect a few times to get off a couple of exciting shots. We'll get them in next time!
