Mavs Lead From Start to Finish;and Tame the Dragons

The Mavs were in total control tonight versus John Cooper. After leading by 7 at the end of one, the Mavs outscored the Dragons 18-6 in the second period, to take a commanding 19 point lead into the locker room. In the 3rd period, it was more of the same, as the Mavs tallied 19 points. The Mavs were led by Angus Mitchell's career high 21 points. Patrick Wilkey added 13 points, including a 4 point play, William Young had 12 points and 8 assists. Tim Otey had 11 points. Josh Winslow added 3 points, 5 rebounds, and several big time hustle plays. Spencer Rasmussen and Hudson Duncan connected on a 3 point basket each. Senior, Ethan Harry added a bucket. Reserves, William Irvine, Carter Pearson, and Mark Kim all played well. The Mavs finish off South Zone play with St. Mary's Hall on Friday. The Mavs look to find a way to win their second road game in three tries to finish up regular season play.
