The Mavericks JV football team exacted a little revenge on the Episcopal Knights last night in an emotional, hard fought victory. After suffering it's only defeat of the year to these same Knights three weeks ago, the Mavs refused to let it happen again. The offense, led by Eugene Wu, kept the Knights off the field for long stretches and the defense, in a total team effort, held fast. The difference came in the fourth quarter when Lawson Gow scored the Mav's only touchdown, followed by Mitchell Nimocks' two point conversion. Next up for the Mavericks, a date with St. Pius Thursday at 7:00.
