Mavericks start season off with a win!

The girls 7th grade basketball team played Presbyterian for their first game and come out on top with a victory. In the first half, the Mavericks passed the ball well and played good defense causing the Panthers to turn the ball over. The score at halftime was 17 Mavericks and 8 Panthers. In the second half, the Panthers came out playing good defense and only allowing the Mavericks to score 2 points. In the fourth quarter, the ball was up and down the court and both teams scored 6 points. The final score Mavericks 25 Panthers 20.
