Mavericks beat Duchesne 2-0

After some refocusing and a couple of hard practices after our tie against ROB earlier this week, the Mavericks were excited to play Duchesne. In the first half, the Mavericks came out strong and it was obvious this was a new team. Maverick offense dominated play as they scored two goals in the first half. Lizzy F. scored the first goal off the goalie's pads and Lizzy E. scored off a pass from Lizzy F. shortly after.

In the second half, the Mavericks worked on swinging the ball and passing to space. As the season continues, the Mavericks will continue to work hard and focus on playing at a higher level.
