Mavs Defeat St. Stephen's in First Meeting

St. John's played St. Stephen's School of Austin in the SPC consolation semi-finals, winning 16-6.  St. John's has played over 100 different opponents in the history of the program.  Friday's meeting against St. Stephen's was the first for the two programs. 

The Mavericks advance to the consolation finals against cross-town rival Episcopal of Houston.  Face off is Saturday, 2:00 p.m. on Troutt Field at ESD.
