Mavericks home opener is a win

After having played 15 consecutive road games to open the season, the Mavericks had their home opener against the Falcons from Incarnate Word Academy and came out with a win.  With a partially renovated field (new dugouts) the Mavericks opened the scoring in the bottom of the first inning on a walk by Carson Black.  Carson would come home on a two run HR by Jess Vlasek in the frame.
The Mavs would push across three runs in the bottom of the 2nd, four more in the 3rd and finally 1 in the 4th and the 5th for the win.
