Mavericks played the early game on Saturday and had to over come the cold, and the slow start to try and pull off an upset. However it was too little too late as MacArthur proved to be too much for the Mavericks. 

The Mavericks were behind the 8ball as the game started as Jessica Vlasek was battling food poisining/stomach bug at the start.  Carson Black who has not caught since her freshmen year was pressed in to duty for the game.  Early errors by the Mavericks "D" allowed the Generals to score 3 runs in the bottom of the 1st inning. 

However, the Mavericks would battle back with Jess entering the lineup and managed to throw in a scare to the Generals.

AB Pacha played a great game recording 9K's while giving up 5 walks.
