Wednesday, January 11, Mac Skelton '03 enthralled students with the story of how, after college, he traveled to Yemen and Lebenon to live and learn about Middle Eastern Muslim culture--without knowing any Arabic. Speaking both to an Upper School history class and the Model U.N. Club, the former SJS Head Prefect presented a slideshow of how daily life surprised him and helped him understand Yemenese society.

Skelton is currently working on his Master's degree at The American University of Beirut.
