Commercial HVAC Technician
St. John's School is seeking a Commercial HVAC Technician.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Apply basic knowledge of automation systems (Metasys experience preferred) and pneumatic systems.
- Conduct inspections of air handlers, boilers, chillers, VAV boxes, and fan coil units.
- Keep accurate records of HVAC equipment parts and filters.
- Troubleshoot and replace electric motors as needed.
- Adjust and replace belts or pulleys.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
- Lubricate motor bearings as required.
- Replace and catalog air conditioning filters.
- Clean coils, drain pans, and drain lines.
- Troubleshoot and replace actuators.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organized
Qualifications:
- EPA certification.
- Completion of HVAC technical school training.
