Mavericks gain first Victory

In the season opener for the Mavericks, the boys defeated Klein Middle School by a score of 4-1. St John's dominated most of the game by winning numerous ground balls. Offensively, William Jewett led the way by scoring a hat trick (3 goals) prior to the end of the third quarter of play. William Payne rounded out the scoring with the final goal of the evening. Krishnan R. had a good game in goal holding the visitors to just one goal.
