Drawing from his own experiences, Mr. Lum encouraged our most recent graduates to say “yes” more often. He persuaded them to leave themselves open to new and unexpected choices, experiences and friendships and to occasionally “unlearn” what we think we know in order to allow ourselves the freedom to explore new opportunities.

The St. John’s community and the 2012 graduates express their gratitude to Mr. Lum for his wisdom and thoughtful advice.
