What an awesome ending to a great meet and season for these sixth grade girls.  Today the girls competed in the field events and set many personal records.  In the high jump, Meryl Gibbs and Anne Johnson tied for first jumping 4'6" and Katherine Magliolo placed fourth jumping 4'4".  In the long jump, Mary Katherine Payne place fifth and Alexis Bailey placed seventh.  In the shot put, Katherine Magliolo placed fourth and Alia Nazir placed sixth.  In the discus, Alex Derbyshire placed third, Alia Nazir place fourth and Skylar Inman place ninth.  The sixth grade girls scored 149 points to be the Champions of the League meet.  Also Anne Johnson was the sixth grade girls' high point athlete for the meet.
