Lower School Students Welcome Visiting Authors
Made possible by the Olga McLaren Poetry Endowment, students welcomed authors and poets Matthew Burgess and Allan Wolf, who shared their writing process and love of poetry with students.

Lower School also welcomed author Katherine Applegate, thanks to Blue Willow Bookshop and HarperCollins. She spoke about her experiences as a writer, her creative process, and her newest book, The Littlest Elephant.
Together, these visits gave students a chance to learn from working authors while encouraging creativity, and a deeper connection to reading and writing.
