Mark D. Desjardins Student Assistance Fund

Established by the Board of Trustees in 2010 as a current use fund and converted to endowment in 2015. The Fund provides financial assistance to students who demonstrate need beyond the scope of normal financial aid awards. Originally known as the Headmaster's Student Assistance Fund, it was renamed in 2021 to honor St. John's seventh Head of School and his 11 years of exemplary service to St. John's. The Mark D. Desjardins Student Assistance Fund is critical in providing support to students for numerous costs that go beyond the reach of financial aid, including field trips, SAT prep classes, extracurricular activities, and other costs that can be prohibitive for participation.
