Winter Camps

Full payment must be received at time of registration. Visa/MasterCard accepted. Online registration for all camps will close on Sunday, December 16. Late registrations will be accepted in person, based on space availability for each individual camp. Camps are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Drop-Off/Pick-Up

Campers in grades K-6 should be dropped off at the appropriate drop-off area in front of the Lower School Farish Building no earlier than 10 minutes before the beginning of camp. This area is accessed through Gate 9 located directly behind the Lamar Towers building at the corner of West Alabama and Buffalo Speedway. Proceed down the driveway to the drop-off area in front of the Farish building. A campus map is available on the top of this page.

Camp personnel will assist with unloading your campers. Please do not get out of your car in the carpool area. For the safety of all campers, DO NOT stop in the "chute" to let children out of the car. You must proceed to the appropriate drop-off area or park in the designated areas and walk your children to their camp.

Pick-up will follow the same procedure. Your campers will be delivered to the pick-up area and someone will assist children into their cars. At no time should campers in grades K-6 be left unattended on the campus. Each child should be delivered to the classroom or the counselors at the drop-off/pick-up area. All campers must be picked up promptly when camp has ended.

NIGHT SPORTS CAMP - It is mandatory that campers must have a parent or guardian present to sign them in and out of this camp. Pick-up and drop-off location is in the Gym only (no carpool). If your child is coming from St. John’s Cheer Camp, you don’t need to come and sign your child in. The coaches will come and get your cheerleader. You will need to come and sign out at the end of the night.

ST. JOHN’S CHEER CAMP - Due to the late pick-up time, a parent or guardian will need to pick up your cheerleader from the gym (no carpool). If your cheerleader is going to Night Sports, you don’t need to come. The coaches will come and get your cheerleader.

SWIZZLESTICKS – Lacrosse will be taking place on the Multipurpose Field. Please drop off and pick up your child in the parking lot at 2700 Buffalo Speedway. Gate 14 is located just south of the corner of Westheimer and Buffalo Speedway.

If you have special needs, contact the coach in charge so arrangements can be made.

Refund Policy

You will receive a partial refund if you cancel for any reason prior to the registration deadline listed to the right. Regardless of the reason for withdrawing from a camp (i.e., illness, injury, family commitment, etc.) a $50 processing fee will be charged for all withdrawals. After December 16, your money will be refunded only if a camp is cancelled. There is no prorating for days missed. St. John’s School reserves the right to cancel any camp for which there is insufficient enrollment.

All registrations are made with the understanding that St. John’s School reserves the right to request withdrawal of any student whose conduct, influence, attendance or participation is regarded as undesirable or detrimental to the summer camp program, or who refuses to conform to the rules and regulations. There will be no refunds for withdrawals.
