The College Search: Who is in the Driver’s Seat? -- virtual

Successfully navigating the college search and application process requires high schoolers, with limited decision-making experience, to begin making relatively significant decisions. In order for students to be fully invested in their educational futures, they need to own this process and the choices they make. And yet they’re often unsure about how to proceed and what to consider, which is why parents and those who support students, working in partnership with counselors, play such a critical role.

TH!NK UK North America -- virtual

This year has been difficult for UK universities to connect with prospective students in Canada and USA. Although we all hope that summer and autumn will come with great news in the fight against the pandemic, we’re still keen to engage with you and provide guidance and information as you look at studying in the UK.

TH!NKUK week will cover everything from submitting your UCAS applications, right through to arriving in the UK and beyond.
This week we will provide opportunities to engage with International Officers, academics, current UK university students from North America and our alumni. We have sessions focused towards students, parents, teachers and school counsellors, but everyone is welcome to ‘think UK’!

    Sessions overview:
•General Sessions: Co-presented by university reps - are designed to give you information on studying in the UK and how to apply

•Subject Spotlights: these panel sessions give an overview of your specific subject area of interest from different universities. Each panel session has a different mix of universities, which is why you can find the same subject areas offered multiple times!

•Parent sessions: opportunities for parents to engage with universities and ask their questions

•Counsellor sessions: opportunities for counsellors to engage with universities and ask their questions

•University Spotlights: Each participating university will be offering a 6-minute introduction as part of a group. Join these sessions to discover unique features and get general information about universities in UK

•1-2-1 meetings: the opportunity to book slots to engage with International Officers and ask your questions
