One of the Upper School’s greatest strengths is an effective advisory system that creates a sense of community and allows each student a place to be known and loved. In 15 and 30 minute sessions throughout each cycle, advisors will facilitate group discussions and activities focused on topics that will support students in their academic and personal development.

Additionally, advisory groups will occasionally dine together, participate in advisory clean-up, collect goods for the Holiday Drive, and celebrate special occasions. As an invaluable resource for teachers, parents, Class Chairs, and administrators, advisors will meet individually with each advisee several times a semester to assess personal progress and growth. While conferences between parents and advisors are held twice per year, parents are encouraged to contact their child’s advisor whenever questions or concerns arise.
