Bing said, "My first game at National Futures was a lot of fun. I got a lot of shots and did pretty well." Participating on one of 16 "teams" made for the tryouts, she made a big impression on the Futures selectors and college scouts in attendance. The U17 team will head to Chula Vista, CA, in January to train at the Olympic training village there. "I'm looking forward to playing at Chula Vista," added Bing, who recieved even more Olympic experience from Justine Sowry at the National tryouts. Sowry was on the Australian 1996 and 2000 Olympic teams. Last year's U17 team played against Canada, and this year's team anxiously awaits news on who their next opponent is, and where that match might be.
