Spirit Week

What an eventful week it has been at SJS! Despite limitations and adjustments due to COVID-19, the campus was fully decorated and alive with Halloween and SJS spirit. Per tradition in the Upper School, Monday was "Dress Like Kinkaid" Day, Wednesday was Camo Day, Thursday was Kinkaid T-Shirt day, and Friday was Red & Black Day. In addition, Monday night was Senior Night on campus for Class 12. Students enjoyed Raising Cane's chicken and Tiff's Treats on the plaza while playing games like laser tag, connect 4, jenga, chess, badminton, corn hole, and bocce ball. They also had a special viewing of the Kinkaid video on the Great Lawn.

Our youngest Mavericks did not miss out on the fun. On Thursday, the Varsity Cheerleading Squad and Varsity Football Captains met the Kindergarten students on Skip Lee Field to teach them the iconic Cookie Monster cheer, a special SJS tradition (see video). The week culminated with Lower and Middle School students sporting their Halloween costumes on Friday. If you would like to watch the Varsity Football game against Kinkaid via livestream on Friday night, please click here. Go Mavericks!
