Upon acceptance of interest, substitutes will be required to complete a Faculty Application and Release for Background Check Form. Once the background check clears, substitutes will be required to complete the necessary payroll forms and the mandatory online training program, at which point the substitute will then be added to the available substitute listing. Because we care about the safety of those under our watch, St. John’s School has partnered with Praesidium Inc.  Praesidium specializes in abuse risk management and is an expert in helping ensure organizations do all they can to keep children safe. We continue to strengthen and expand the screening and selection process, among many of our policies, and now have our first employee to become a Certified Praesidium Guardian and support others who will follow.
