Parents, do you notice your child setting impossible standards for themselves or avoiding challenges for fear of failure? Do you sometimes find yourself worrying about your child’s worries? We hope you will join us for an engaging and practical parent workshop designed to support you in guiding your child through the challenges of anxiety and perfectionism.
In this workshop, Dr. Elizabeth McIngvale and her clinical team from the OCD Institute of Texas will share valuable insights and tools to help parents raise confident, resilient children. The workshop will include both a presentation and small group discussions, giving parents the opportunity to learn key concepts and also connect with one another in a supportive setting.
Discussion topics include:
· The cycle of anxiety and perfectionism—and how to approach anxiety in a helpful way
· The role parents play in the anxiety cycle
· Practical interventions parents can use to help build resilience
· Everyday strategies and tips to support your child’s growth
We hope you’ll join us for a meaningful conversation that offers encouragement, understanding, and practical tools to help you and your child find a balanced approach to life.
