The heart of St. John’s is teachers eager to extend themselves for their students, and there is not a more glorious embodiment of the School’s heart than art teacher Walt Kisner. Walt characterizes the intimacy of a St. John’s School education. Walt’s always interested in the student, their goals and dreams, and through commitment and compassion he seeks to help them grow to their potential. “One of the things I'm really excited about is helping my students know how important their ideas are,” he says. “They are to be celebrated and communicated. I want to help them in the process of learning how to communicate those ideas visually.”
